Hello Just a quick blog as I finally have a minute to sit and write something here. I am currently waiting for the internet man to come and finally install our high speed internet connection. As we live quite a ways out of town on three acres, we out here have always used dial up, so the neighbour and I complained for months and finally got them to bring some connections out here. She got hers installed last week and mine was supposed to be today at 9, but it is now 10 and no one has yet to show up, and I hate waiting ! What will totally suck is that if he don't show up I will be really mad because I already had the other stuff; the dial up - sceduled to be shut off tommorrow....so if for some reason I am not here for a bit that is why, hmmmmmmm. Geeeze, I know I will be glad to have it though !
Well, other than that the weekend was beautiful, I got alot of things done again. Saturday I cleaned out two of the four kids rooms and just in thier rooms I got rid of one whole box of stuffed animals, two boxes of toys and a big box of clothes. I sure didn't realize that we had so much junk ! Today; the weather is a bit chillier and looks like rain... so I might go back upstairs and try to clean out the other two kids rooms, but that depends on how the day goes. Sometimes it is hard to stay inside when it is nice out ! As for Sunday; it was an ok day, I opened all the windows and finally got some clean air into the house. They said it was about 90 degrees outside, but it sure didn't feel like it. My girls played outside with some buckets of water and threw them at eachother, and that was fun to watch, we were going to grill out but discovered that we were out of gas, we so ate something else....bummmer - I love cooking out ! Other that that we watched my man JEFF GORDON win again at Talladega ! What an awesome race that was ! I hate when races end green, white, checker....blah ! But he did win, so for that - I am very thankful ! I sure hope that Jeff continues to have such a great year, it has been so awesome to watch ! I feel bad though that Mikey (Waltrip) didn't make it into the race yet again this week, he is a realllllllly, super nice guy, I sure hope that things get better for him ! On the other hand another nice guy; Kenny Wallace; who is absolutely hilarious; had a wonderful run, great Job Kenny ! Well yes.... diverse in Nascar fan-ism I am, but there are alot of great guys out there ! I have had alot of opportunity's to meet many of them, and those who have been exceptionally(sp?) nice to me, I will forever be a fan ......and of course to those who have been not so nice, or are just plain rude, well, no duh, I am not a fan ! Thankfully, There aren't too many of those though.....maybe just a handful ! What can I say, I have always just loved NASCAR !
Well, I have been thinking about doing a blog about our vacations (holiday - for my aussie friends), which I may do next.... and I think I would like to share some of our experiences with everyone who'd like to read about them. We just scheduled ours for this year again, which we always take on the week of July 4th...so maybe we can inspire some others to go out and have a great and wonderful time with family as we do ! We like to go see America in a different place every year, and it has been so much fun to do, soooo many great memories ! Just got to find the time to write about it !
As for the other things going on around here; my nausea, etc. hasn't been bad at all, which I am so thankful for and we've not heard anything back/again from "crazy ex- landlord" which is unusual...but gooood, I will keep ya'll posted if that changes....maybe this time she got the message to leave us alone ! Also, even though I have been praying, we haven't heard nothing on NC YET....I sure hope that it works out, I would like it sooooo bad ! Jordan(my 15 yr. old) and I sat and pondered yesterday about how many people must like Nascar - and how many people must like country music there also. It is like no one here in Wisconsin likes anything but the Packers or cold weather and as for music - my son says he is the only one his age who likes country music at school. Everyone else listens to "rap crap" or some other sort of "music" (or whatever they call it now). I am glad that my son don't care what others think....he is proud to be Tim McGraw's biggest fan ! That makes me happy just to know that he is happy, not that he is doing what others think he should, my daughter Brittany is not so easy to convince though....she is a bit more concerned about popularity ! Grrr ! Good thing we banned ALL "rock" music from the house ....it has calmed them....I mean her...... down quite a bit !
Well, the internet man I have been waiting for has still not shown up, so I am going to go and give them a call and get some other stuff done around the house too. I will be back as soon as I can ! Take Care all, and have a good day !
