We survived Thanksgiving '06 !

Hope everyone had a nice holiday,  ours was okay. We didn't go anywhere this year because after last year's Thanksgiving and that big fiasco - Adam said he was never going to go back home again for Thanksgiving...I guess he meant it. I really missed going tho. I usually don't hang out with my family much but it is fun to hang out with everyone else in his family except for his Mom that is, and that is a shame.

We had an early breakfast and then watched a movie which I fell asleep during. After that we checked on the turkey and got other food prepared then we went outside to cut some more wood ... tried to burn it but that wasn't going to happen I guess as it didn't want to burn. It was fun none the less pouring some gas we had on it then running ! But even after that it didn't want to stay burning. So maybe I will try again tommorrow. The weather was rather mild here today as it is supposed to be tommorrow as well.  I would say it was about 60-65 (f) out there so I did not want to stay inside. I hate being stuffed up inside ! I for one will be so glad when winter is over ! I am much better at being a summer girl !

After we were done outside we came in took showers and ate our dinner, it was delicious ! Adam cooked pretty much all of it ... I am not a good cook, and it is not a fave thing of mine to do anyway... I think it is somewhat boring.  Regardless, I am so stuffed right now that I feel like I am going to explode and I don't think I even ate that much ... my eyes are always bigger than my stomach - ha ha ha- I am not one who ever clears my plate !

We bought the kids Ice Age 2 Tuesday when it came out ans saved it till tonight to watch, It was hilarious ! We all really liked it. I can say though that I usually am not dissapointed when I buy the kids movies anyway, good thing they watch them, I must have 300 so far !

Well, it is late here and Britt and I are getting up at 5 for the sales that will be going on.  That is one of our fave things to do after Thanksgiving. Now I just have to decide when I am going to start decorating for the Christmas holiday, I never get done it seems till it is time to take it all down ! Now I just have to find the time to do it !
