Of Mice and Men...and a cat !

Today was just your every day run of the mill day....nothing big going on...really. I got laundry done, ate, did dishes, well loaded them into dishwasher...took a nap and played with my son Cameron.

Yep...today was pretty ordinary, with one exception !



The picture above is of Mr. Smokey Bones...our cat. Now mind you... this cat has like twelve names , Bones, Smokey, Smoke, Bonesey, Mr. Bones...etc. Now...this cat is SO spoiled that he thinks he is better than anyone in the house and he acts like the family dog ! (we do have 2 other cats as well)

So anyway, last night at about midnight as we are late nighters here and we were sitting there getting ready for lying down; suddenly Mr. Bones comes flying out of nowhere and leaps into the Christmas tree. Now mind you, normally this cat hates our tree and wants nothing to do with it, but not last night. Last night there was a mouse in the tree!

A mouse... and what was funny (of mice and men) is that Adam; leaps with bounds up onto the sofa ! Ha, ha, ha, I almost died, it was sooo very funny ! It is a mouse for crying out loud....a mouse, a little, furry, small, fuzzy cute mouse. I did feel real bad for the poor little mouse, but knew that he just couldn't stay in the house. So, I did do my best to save the mouse, but my cat who now thinks he is a hero - attacked it before I could get to it. (better than he could appearantly) and well, that was the end of the mouse.

Well - So, Bonesey has been parading around the house now all day, sniffing with head held high. He don't like intruders in the house and miraculously will have a low growl when someone new comes in. (like I said, he thinks he's a dog) So, okay Mr. Bones you CAN be the hero for the day... Mr. Smokey Bones to the rescue !
