IN STITCHES ....

Hello guys ... what a long weekend it was here !

Friday night we went to that going away party for my husbands good friend (also named Adam) who'll be going to flight school at Ft. Rucker, in Alabama. We had a good time, but to be honest ... I would have much rather stayed home with my kids. I had like 4 glasses of lemonade to everyone elses 24 beers! LOL. I just find no fun in getting smashed or whatever you call it. Being with my kids or reading a good book is more fun to me. I know I am a nerd, but I don't care. I figure that if you don't like it, then that's just too bad !

Then Saturday night we spent four hours in the emergency room with my two year old "wild man" Cameron. Oh what fun !!!! Our "Little monkey on caffeine" was jumping on Hannah's canopy bed and fell off hitting his head on her night table, splitting it wide open right above his left eye. Blood was everywhere and it was pretty grotesque. He screamed about it only a little while, which was a shock to me, and sat really still for the doc's at the hospital too. He has a few stiches that will come out in a few days, but for goodness sake he is A-OK ! I did manage to take a few pictures, but they are all on my phone. ((which I cannot figure out how to get them on my 'puter. I'm not technically smart.))

Besides that this weekend, I've done about what seems like 45,000 loads of laundry, I washed everything that I could think of to wash. Gee, and just imagine spring isn't here yet to do my spring cleaning, but I sure am READY for it ! It snowed all weekend here and is so white it hurts my eyes to look out the window ! To just give you a good idea of all the snow we've had here - here are two examples. The neighbour has a tree swing that hangs from the tree and it is totally buried beneath the snow ... still hanging from the tree ! The other, is that my old blue saturn (car) is buried up to the windows in my driveway. Let me tell you ... what a pain to shovel out it has been ! Thank Goodness for men, or I would have to do it ! No - Thank you ... YUk !!!!

Adam had duty all weekend on post, which never usually happens, so I'm at home today doing all kinds of odds and ends. There has been no school or church, blahhhhhh. The neighbours came over however and we discussed how everyones taxes have gone way up ... four people on our street now have thier houses for sale and I suppose we're next on that one ! Today yet, I have to do my calendar on the fridge for the week and write down the menu's I keep, then run to the store when Adam gets home. For some reason I ran out of everything possible this week and need to re-load ! I recieved all the homeschooling forms yesterday in the mail; so I have to sit and figure them out and get them back out in the mail. Tommorrow Apria Health care is to FINALLLLLY pick up the wheelchair/walker that Hannah used for her foot/leg surgery back in July. It has been sitting around since - just driving me crazy, I do not know why they took so long to come get it, but I will be glad to have it out of my way !

I guess as soon as spring comes I will begin the "cleanout and packing" process that will need to be done. I need to clean out anyway, there is way too much stuff/junk around here, so either Goodwill will be called or a yard sale will be needing to be had. I haven't made up my mind yet which I will do, but I will decide soon. I hate packing, especially when I have no idea on the itinerary, but I figure that God will let us know before the time comes. Adam has been trying to get us orders out of here for quite some time, so maybe the Lord will finally answer us and give us some ! Pray, pray, pray !!!!!

Well, No race today - Boooooo, but LV is next week, yea ! So, for now, I guess I have no more to say for today, and some things that I still need to get done, So I will go for now. I hope that all of you had a great weekend, I will write soon !
