TIME OUT FOR BLOGGING ....

Seems as though I spend so much time doing everything else anymore I have no time for blogging. Life has been so busy, but it has been pretty good too, so not many complaints.

Thought I would take a break between lessons today to do a blog. I have a lot rumbling through my head.

Hannah's math today was "fact families" (3 numbers used 4 times) and she has been having great difficulty with understanding it. I have tried explaining it several times with no success. She has 3rd grade math even though she is in 6th grade because of her special needs problems so sometimes it can be hard and she gets easily frustrated. So, I thought we'd take a break and move on to something else, have a snack or play a game so she can recoop before going at it again.

I have also been working on the US states still and the Ten Commandments with them. With that it is going really well and they seem to like learning them. Cameron gets a little antzy, but I suppose that is to be expected for a five year old.  Brittany has been doing meal planning too and the cooking and she really likes that.

I have been meaning to vacuum for the last few days, but I keep putting it off. ha, I guess I am doing that again it seems. ... Hmmmmm.

I have been getting alot done other wise though. We re-arranged the playroom last week and recarpeted the whole area. We also went through the toy boxes and got rid of alot weeks before so they fit nicer now in a new spot.  A  lot of "little things' have been done too - you know all those things that build up, but are so little .. lol. They always end up taking so long to get them all done though, haha.

We celebrated little miss Graciella Sofia's 2nd birthday the other day too. She got some new dolly's and dress up clothes and shoes. She luvs shoes ! She was so excited !

 I can't believe that she is two already. My goodness how time flies ! Seems like just yesterday she was born ! (below pic taken a few minutes after her birth 11/9/07 @ 1:31 am) Look at those eyes ! This is my fave pic ever of her ! From the moment she was born, she is as she was then, so alert and perceptive !

I loaded all my pix over at FB and tried here too, but it wasn't cooperating with me, so I will try again sometime. I do like having all my pix in one place though and since I have everything at Multiply, I would like to keep it that way. Even if I don't get here so much anymore.

 

Only like 40 something days till Florida for us now. My kids have a countdown, but I lost track.. lol. I am still pretty excited to not be doing the holidays and go. I hope that the weather will be good. I will be sad if it turns out to be bad. I have been mapping out the trip the last few days and wondering which routes would be the best. I haven't been to Louisiana yet, so I keep trying to sneak that in, because that will make it 41 states that I have been to so far ... lol. (my goal is all 50 + Territorries) Louisiana is a tad out of the way though, but that is me ... hahaha. I know if Windi is in  KC by then I can drive up that way through there and stop to say HI ! :O) If not, I might just go through Mississippi to say hello to my Aunts there. I haven't seen them in a long while, so that would be nice. Jordan also wanted to see Graceland and go through Nashville again, but I am not a big fan of Elvis' and have been there over 10 times, but maybe. Who knows. Alot of possibilites.

Well, I suppose I have done all the filling in for now and should get going. I got some loads of laundry to do and oh yea ... that vacuuming too. Hope that you all have a great day !
