The news, the dish, the scoop - whatever you wanna call it - here it is.
So the good and the bad - happy and sad .. blah blah blah ... is not alot. I had some ultrasounds done and some colon tests and as you know the colon one came back fine, however the U.S. had not.
What the good news is - is that I don't have cancer. I was fully prepared to walk into my docs office today and have him tell me some dreadful news, I had it all planned out, but, As a matter of fact the doctor assured me that uterine cancer is usually most abundant in women in thier 60's or 70's, So with me being only 34 ... yeaaa, not an issue. My mom and sister also had cervical cancer so again, not a worry for uterine. Now whether or not I ever get it or not will remain to be seen - however my plans for that still remain as I had wished, in the event it ever does happen.
So what is the deal ? I was quite in my pondery about it sitting there ... what would make me have a monthly time like I had - lasting so long, hurting so much and soooo quite out the ordinary for me ??
One of two things actually, and here goes.
1) A polyp. In the lining of my uterus causing aggrevation. Yes and could very well cause all the troubles.
2) (and get this) I MOST Likely was pregnant AGAIN and had ANOTHER miscarriage ! HA ... okay, not at all that I am ok with this, however I find this quite interesting that this is something I would not have noticed. Now the doc said that he finds it highly unlikely that I still had left overs in my uterus from January and my miscarriage with Wyatt, so he is fairly certain that this is what this all could have been.
Now he ordered another series of ultrasounds to check me for after my normal monthly (which I just had and WAS normal) so that he can check them against eachother to be sure he is under the right assumption. If all is clear that most likely was the simple explanation to the problem.
So there ya go .. interesting - huh ? All I gots to say is, WEIRD .......... very very weird.
SO, moving on - the H1N1 has moved on from me - in most part anyway. For the most part I am back to normal with no major botherances. I had that breathing treatment at the docs the other day and that helped immensely. I also got a new inhaler, 2 to be exact. One is a regular for me - the other is called Advair, and I have not used that before, but was told it was a steroid inhaler and should help my asthma much more than the regular inhaler does.
On the other hand ... I gave my germs to my hubby. Good in a way cause they are gone from me - but bad, SOO SOOO bad because he is the worlds biggest baby when he gets sick. :O( So lets just say, I stayed FAR away from the house as much as possible today ... lol.
It is good that it don't seem to stick around though, doc said it tends to be fairly mild in adults rather than children and of course it is still all individulalized - person to person varies, and each person might carry it differently. I am glad though that for the most part, it seems to have done its work here.
So that is the most suggnificant news for the day - as I am quite sure you all don't want to hear about my romps with the laundry or staying up till midnight scrubbing a toilet .. hey, I never said anything else would be thrilling ! hehehe ...
So, I hope that you all had a good day today and will have a good tommorrow as well ! :O)
TAMMIE
I'm glad you got answers and don't have cancer!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's good that you got all that taken care of. Glad that you don't have the big C and that your doctor seems to know what's going on.
ReplyDeleteGlad you went to Dr. + they ruled out big C. I've been wondering how it went. Take care!
ReplyDeleteGlad the doctor went OK, and glad you had it checked out before you freaked out for too long.
ReplyDeleteI had the Advair inhaler thing...big round purple thing? Costs like $100....I HATED it. Since I was a kid I have always used Albuterol, and it works wonderfully....or it did until some moron decided to redo the delivery system so it didn't contain CFCs....now I don't think it works as well, but I still prefer it to any of the other crap the doctor has ever given me for my asthma. They try to argue with me any time I ask for one, and tell me about all of the new crap out there....just write the script for the Albuterol and I will be on my way, thank you very much!!!
Very happy to hear it was Cancer! Glad you are feeling better too!
