I haven't felt very good for about 24 hours now, got a sore throat again and feel drained and icky. I wanted to throw up this morning, but that went away quickly ... thank goodness.
I didn't get a flu shot or anything this year so I am hoping I don't regret it. I have gotten one for like 12 years in a row now as I am supposed to, but without having the insurance, it wasn't done. So, unless the kids bring it home from school or Adam from work, I don't know how else it would get here - seeing that I usually don't visit the outside world.
Last night we did go to Petco again, for no reason other than that we had nothing to do. We didn't buy anything, but looked at all the animals again. I wish I had a big huge house cuz then I would be like having a ton of little pets around ! LOL ! I would like a big bird and some lizards and a bunch of hampsters .... I know, I got enough to do. Ha,ha ha.
This morning I wanted to go to a craft show in New Lisbon - which a town down the road from me, I don't have much money, but I do like to look, and it don't cost to do that.
But Adam just got home from when he left this morning to get a shovel, so I don't know if we will go or not now. That was 3 hours ago.
My intention was to get the Holiday stuff up this weekend, but blahhhh, I don't know if I feel like doing all that.
Well, I just cooked up some soup and I am gonna go eat it. Hope ya'll have a great Saturday.

And, I see Multiply is acting all bazzaar again today. Grrrr ! All blogs popping up say posted 5 hours ago, and nothin new. Man, better not be doin a 360 !
It has been snowing here today but finally tapered off. Only got a few inches but everything is white now. I don't feel like putting up holiday stuff yet either, maybe next weekend. I go into Petland all the time and play with the puppies, and it's torture cause they are so cute and I can't afford over a grand for a dog. That's why I stay away from the shelter, cause those dogs I can actually take home.

Its been snowing here ever since I woke up! We have a Winter Weather Advosory until 7pm tonight...it was scheduled to end at 5pm but they extended it. More snow on the way tomorrow for us too! I'm with you..Is it amost Spring??LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you were able to go to the craft show! I love those kind of things, but there arnt really very many of them around here for some reason. You would think with the holidays, that someone would have something!!!
I had to pick up my youngest from a friends house early this morning. He had woke up there at 6am throwing up..the whole flu thing. I called the doctor on call when I couldnt get anything to stay down and they ordered him Phenergan tablets..I'm hoping he feels better soon without anyone else in the house getting it.

ReplyDeleteI have never gotten a flu shot before... not that I can remember anyway. I really should get one this year though because last year I couldn't get out of bed/function for about 3 weeks... in the middle of the school year! Thank god most of my professors were understanding, otherwise that could have been a drastic decrease in my grades!
And about the pet store, I know what you mean. When I get bored/sad, I google pictures of puppies! It always makes me feel better... but jealous that I can't get one just yet.

ReplyDeleteIt snowed here most of the day too. the roads are getting kind of bad. I went grocery shopping for the things that we will need for the next few days. Now I have no reason to leave the house again until Monday...thank God, I hate being cold! I sure hope you get to feeling better soon. I made chicken noodle soup and biscuits for dinner tonight...(((hugs)))
