1) I wasn't going to do a blog today, but Gracie reeeeeeely needed a nap, so I am sitting here while she is doing so.
2) It seems the only thing my son; Cameron wants to eat this week is M&M's.
3) I sat outside last night being the Count - from Sesame Street. lol. It went like this: One, One flying bat - ah ah ah. Well as the darkness set upon our house last night, I had finally counted TWELVE bats ... 12 ! They came out of the house - right above the last top window (dormer?) Not the one Brittany is hanging out of. (the only pic I had right now .lol.)
4) I have that ultra sound to go to tommorrow for my thyroid. Hmmmm - why do they need to do that ? I dunno.
5) I am already tired of hanging the clothes out on the line that I just bought. I miss my dryer. Thank god it is nice out today or clothes would be hanging all over the house.
6) Cameron is LUVing the trampoline we bought for the kids ... and I must admit I went on it last night too - it was fun. Jordan, Brittany and I were laughing so hard. Jordan even fell right off the side - it was so hilarious ! The neighbors down the road hopefully weren't looking. lol. I did get a ton of pics to show - hopefully I can post them soon.
7) I cannot wait till next weekend !!! I am going to the WINDY city to meet WINDY ... LOL ! I love going home, I will get to see my mom and be in Chicago again... I know I won't want to come back here - I miss it there alot !
8) I am watching Little House right now- typing this - waiting for Gracie to wake up... it is such a nice day out tooo, so when she does wake up - ya'll will know where I will be :O)
9) Ok, well that took a bit - I got dazed out - Mary went blind in this episode and I forgot I was blogging.. lol.
10) I think I would like to learn to read brail, or use sign language- it is neat. One time I pretended I was blind all day - I did not like it.... it has to be so hard of a thing to get used to.
11) God, I was just thinking my garage is a pigsty - I really need to clean it today.
12) Speaking of pigs - my kids need to go live in a barn ... the upstairs is gross AGAIN !
13) Ok - I am getting impatient ... Girlie needs to wake up. Ya, I know dumb.... but I wanna go outside. Well, guess I will tidy up something - kids will be home soon.

I know the pigsty feelings, I am blogging to avoid cleaning up! But it has to be done, I'm leaving for the weekend and my sister is coming here to watch the girls!!! Soooo....

8. Little House has always been a favorite of mine. I can remember when I was little it came on Monday nights at 8pm and we would always be in our pjs ready and waiting. Then as soon as it went off, we had to go to bed. :( lol I could watch those reruns FOREVA!!!
9. That was so sad when she went blind.
10. I know the letters in sign language but that's it. I couldn't imagine not being able to see.

ReplyDeleteSay, I keep meaning to mention this too you. I have thyroid problems too. The level in my blood is fine but I have a polyp on my thyroid. So, I've had an ultra sound done of it before. Trust me...there is nothing to worry about. It's super simple. It's like an ultra sound when you are preggo except it's on your neck. They even did a biopsy of it and it turned out to be non cancerous. But if you do need to get a biopsy done let me know...I'll explain what happens. If you need any thyroid advise let me know!! :)
Bats are harmless! They won't bother you at all. The more bats you have flying around your house the less mosquitoes you will have flying around your house! We actually have bat houses to put up this time of year! Bring 'em ON!

ReplyDeleteI took Sign Language classes (3 or 4, I can't remember now) and while I don't use it much now I still know some and use it on occasion. Should a hearing impaired person use it to speak to me, I'd be shy and likely fingerspell more than actually sign. Great idea, you'd probably really love it.
I hope the ultrasound comes out ok too!! I have a thyroid disease so if you ever need some information, I know it all!!

hMMM, the Hubby took it all apart and it is still not working, only blows out cold air - so it most likely is the heating element. BOOOOOOOOOOO, gotta find out how much that is gonna cost before I know what we are doing. For now it is lines and laundrymats. :O(
