TEASER

Hello, after another long weekend I thought I would write a bit to all of you who read my stuff.

What a tease ! Today was quite nice out, I'd say it was about 60-ish outside and not to chilly. Tommorrow is supposed to be even warmer, but then they say the bottom will drop out again by Wednesday evening going back to being in the 30's outside. (SO NOT fair seeing California is having a heat wave of 90's right now !) But anyway ... all ... ok, most of our snow has or is melting with the warmer temps over the last few days and it's caused us to have our very own lake in the yard ....what a mess ! So, after getting my things done inside today, the kids and I decided to just go out to the deck to play thier "Hullabaloo" game and we had a good time. Them "Cranium" games are pretty hilarious - I must say, and are a greatly, fun interactive thing for kids !

Other than that, our weekend was somewhat busy, Friday evening my husband Adam gave me a HUGE suprise ! 2 TICKETS to the NASCAR races in BRISTOL (Tennessee) 2 weeks from now !!!!! OH yes baby, I'm one gal who'd rather have tickets to a NASCAR race rather than some dopey jewelry, I'm not girly and have loved cars since I was little, so this is perfect ! Even though Adam cannot get leave right now, our oldest son Jordan (15) who also loves NASCAR will be gladly going with me, and we know that we are going to have a great time! (Go Jeff#24!) ~ I just love driving and going anywhere is a total blast for me, I even drove to Canada once for no reason other than I hadn't been there yet !

As for the rest of the weekend we were able to get some things done around the house on Saturday then got a pizza and rented a few movies to watch. I ended up being disapointed in the movies, but such is life. I'm not big on movie's, they are all so negative anymore, that I have just lost interest in even watching them. Lord knows there is enough negativity already in the world, I don't need to see or hear more of it !

As for Sunday; the whole day was "off " due to the whole "clock/ time change" thing (Grrrr) and it managed to mess all of us up for the rest of the day - Our clocks (the ones we use anyway) are set by satellite and DIDN'T work right ... Neither the dish, puter or cell phone were on the right time and I use the cell as my alarm, so naturally they did not go off and we all over slept for church ! That of course is what had all of us feeling goofy for the rest of the day ... I know, I know, why do I not have a normal clock ? Well simple, I hate all this setting them and stuff, time changes and even if the power goes out ... call me lazy, but I really think it is stupid, why can't they just leave the clocks alone ??!!

Well, I think that I have to go to the store to get something for dinner, the gang is hounding me and again I didn't realize that it was an hour later than I am used to ... lord, drives me crazy, but what can ya' do ???? Gotta go feed the gang, take care all, have a great day !
