Hello everyone !
It's been a very "white" four days here, and we have so much snow that it is unbelievable ... (19.1") Let me tell you, I'm sooo tired of all the white and can't wait to get some color back into the scenery around here, I will be SO glad to see the greens again and hear some birds outside ! I hate cold weather, so for me to go out in it, isn't very fun !
Thursday was busy, had errands to run and do and went bowling with the kids in the evening - good thing with snows that came on Friday, so I was thankful to get done. Friday was weird, about 11 am Adam got real sick and came home from work ... now mind you, for a person whom in 16 years I have never seen throw up, he made up for all of it on Friday ....ewwwwww ! Brittany had a youth group "conclave" for church planned for the whole weekend and stayed at the church for a sleepover on Friday, they were supposed to take the bus to the conclave on Saturday but it was cancelled, so after about two hours of digging out the driveway we were able to go pick her back up from church. She was disappointed, but says they plan to rescedule the function. Like usual, she has already made ten hundred friends from church, but atleast this time they are nice and well mannered kids ! I'm glad I am seeing a real change starting, and cannot wait to homeschool next year, I am sure it will be an exciting experience for all of us !
So Saturday was not very exciting as we were mainly snowed in, but it was nice just to be cozy and snuggle on the sofa. We did play a few games too, nothing but a whole lotta junk on TV and sattelite kept going in and out because of the snow and winds, so no need to watch it anyway. Besides the few moments of the laundry which never seems to end, the day was actually pretty good.
Sunday; they cancelled both sessions of church ... so I was left dumfounded as to what to do with myself. I usually don't have that time. So, I did some more laundry and I decided to clean out all my old papers, file cabinet and bills etc. I have a paper shredder so it came in real handy for the extra garbage that needed to be shredded ! I took the whole computer area apart and cleaned it all really nice. I don't know why, I am not at all sloppy, but for some reason this is were all the "junk" likes to collect in my house ! My speakers haven't worked for like 6 months now, so I also found the reason why they haven't been working and fixed that, they now work fine again and have even scared me with the sound ... I've gotten used to not having any sound and have to get used to it again, I guess. For our Anniversary/ Valentines Day (both the same) Adam had bought me a cordless mouse and a new printer/scanner/copier which I have really been needing and wanting, so I was finally able to get that all fixed up and ready to go. ((Grrrrr... I was mad that he spent money on me, we owe so many bills, but he said that he didn't care, so what was I to do. It was nice to be thought of though.)) The new mouse is awesome though, it is so nice to not have that dern cord in my way ... yes, I know I am not hard to please ! I for one, am one girl who would MUCH rather have some NASCAR tickets than diamonds given to me !!!!! Are you kidding ... a total no brainer there !
Was able to watch the race on Sunday in Cali, Matt Kenseth won, but Jeff; my man, finished 2nd ... what a good start to the season, Jr ... my second fave had a bad day but atleast had a sence of humor with the "bow" ... Oh I loved that ! Good Job Jr. you'll do better next time ! I am still glad over the fact that Mark Martin didn't win Daytona last week ... even though that is contradictory as I realllly dislike Kevin Harvick !!! But none the less, it was a good race !
Well today is Monday, and as usual - I have what seems like 99,000 things to do ... so I guess that I will go do them.
I hope to have some better pix of all the snow up soon ... Hope all is well with everyone ! Take Care !
