Yesterday the high was -19, yes ... literally it was. The kids did not have school and today they are off as well.
Been too cold to sit here and we still have no heat. There have been 6 people that have died in nearby areas due to the cold.
I can still see my breath in my house and everything is frozen, my fish are dying and my wash machine don't start bcuz pipes are froze. (Guess good thing as laundry soap is a solid brick)
I think it is warmer in my refrigerator than in my house!
SO ... I guess it goes without saying that I HATE winter !
Still astonishes me how every one could care less, even about the kids ... I mean it is not like I am a drug addict here ... Geeze, and all because everyone dislikes the military here and the stay at home moms as we all seem to be ! The snottiness of people has been a never ending, relentless battle. I sure cannot wait to leave. We have decided to push the issue first thing upon Adam's return.
Well, Gonna run; warmer yes, but still too cold to sit !
